1-To foster international commerce and particularly Venezuela-USA bilateral relations, collaborating with companies and institutions of both countries to overcome obstacles in tariff and restrictions that hinder trade of commercial goods and services. 2- To promote tourism in the region and particularly between Venezuela / USA. 3- To promote as well as to inform and educate individuals about the advantages of the democratic process and the state of rights in the Western Hemisphere, particularly in the United States of America, and in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. 4- To defend the legitimate property rights, especially the right to private property, of the members of this Foundation and citizens of Venezuela in general before any national and international tribune. 5- To defend the right to enjoy all liberties, especially the freedoms of speech, assembly, the press, the right to a fair trial, religion and economic freedom, as well as all the other liberties and rights consecrated in the laws and constitutions of the countries of the Western Hemisphere. 6- To offer its members consulting and steps to be taken in the United States in all areas pertaining to the Bylaws, mainly those contributing to increase international commerce. 7- Collaborate with the public and private sectors by taking measures in favor of developing international commerce, as well as strict compliance of state rights and laws in general. In order to faithfully comply with these statutes, the Boards of Directors of the Venezuelan American Business League and the Venezuelan American Foundation may act of their own accord as well as in collaboration with other national and international institutions. Likewise, the Foundations may maintain very close relationships of reciprocal collaboration and aide with the bi-national institutions existing in Miami, and their headquarters, particularly the Venezuelan American Chamber of Commerce, the National Venezuelan American Foundation (FUNDAVEN), the HUMANITAS Foundation, CAMACOL, the USHCC (Washington), and many other Latin-American institutions. In Venezuela the Foundations will maintain relationships of reciprocal collaboration and aide with ACIDE, FEDECAMARAS, CONSECOMERCIO, CONINDUSTRIA, VENAMCHAM, the CHAMBER OF COMMERCE OF CARACAS, CEDICE, as well as other business organizations. |
